I am an English teacher, and Moodle has changed the way I teach.  I no longer use photocopies, ever, which is both great for the environment  and my arms.  I do many more in-class tests, which allows me to see how students are learning, and these test are instantly marked allowing students to immediately see how they are doing. It has also reduced cheating between students during tests. Moodle also informs me when students are logging less frequently, which allows me to make sure that the students stay engaged and reduces drop out by up to 80%.
