• Adding Resources

Objective: At the end of this module, you will be able to add resources (pdf, word, video, audio and images) to course topics, using both drag and drop and upload methods.

In Moodle you have several options for adding content to your course.  The easiest option is to drag and drop files into your course page.  Many teachers use Moodle as a document repository, but as you will see it can be so much more.

If you drag PDF documents into your Moodle course, which can obviously be very useful to your students, you can choose to have the PDF's open into a separate browser page, allowing students to use them as a resource as they work on another element - for example a reading comprehension or a quiz.

Your other alternative is to use the activity and resource picker.
